Theme: “Arts as a Catalyst for Nation-Building and Social Change”
Are you a young Nigerian artist passionate about using your creativity to inspire change? The Pastor Eskor Mfon Foundation invites you to participate in the “Express Yourself” Arts Competition—a unique platform for emerging talents to showcase their artistic abilities through painting and photography while addressing pressing social issues.
Who Can Apply?
- Nigerian youths aged 18-35 with a passion for visual arts.
- Artists specializing in painting.
Theme: “Art as a Catalyst for Social Change”
Thematic Areas: good governance, social justice and human rights, climate change, gender equality, mental health and youth empowerment.
How to Apply
Stage 1: Submit a photograph of your artwork along with an artist’s statement explaining its concept and connection to any of the thematic area of your choice to pastoreskormfonfoundation@gmail.com
Stage 2: 10 qualified entrants will be picked to do a live demo of their submitted art works before a jury and 5 finalists would be selected for the final event on 30th April, 2025.
Stage 3: The 5 finalists would compete amongst themselves in a live painting within a time frame and 3 winners would be selected and given cash prizes.

- Final Exhibition & Awards Ceremony: 30th April 2025

- Winner: ₦300,000 cash prize
- First Runner-Up: ₦200,000 cash prize
- Second Runner-Up: ₦100,000 cash prize
